Amanda + Stephen’s Wedding

When Amanda contacted me she was very specific about her choices. She carefully read through our services and felt we had the right skills for the job! One of which is our digital retouching service! She wanted more than just a professional photographer for her sunny Palm Beach, Florida wedding at the Frenchman’s Reserve! She wanted a professional photographer who could capture her personality. Being a studio with diverse styles, we tooled up for a photojournalist shoot, plus a great deal of trust building. This meant that Cohart Photography was able to capture Amanda being Amanda, resulting in great pictures with lots of smiles to go around. We moved on to the reception with live music and awesome catering. I have to say I am so proud of Amanda! An hour into the reception out beautiful bride switched from photojournalism into a three minute high energy fashion shoot! Stephen stood by, proudly observing his bride come out of her shell for a moment. It was so much fun!

Sacha + Steve’s Engagement Dinner :: A fun night out!

Sacha & Steve love to dine at restaurants! So when they asked Cohart Photography to document their engagement dinner, we were excited!  They were fun and funny lol! I love the way Sacha and Steve interacted on this shoot with Steve humorously pointing out “hey Sacha, you are blocking my beauty light!” as Sacha walked infront of the lighting! Sacha and Steve invited family and friends out for dinner to celebrate their engagement! A few of them flew in from out-of-state to share this moment. Congrats Sacha & Steve and thanks for the drink after the shoot lol!

Toni & Billy’s Wedding :: Slideshow

A guy washing the dishes after you! Now that’s got to be love! That scenario speaks of Billy. Yep Billy did! And who wouldn’t do that for a wonderful person like Toni! The couple met at an outreach program to their community. Toni became fund of Billy as he made her laugh all night long and as the night went on they found love. The signs became more evident as he washed the dishes that night and talked until the sunrise. It was the beginning of something special. This slideshow gives you a nice summary of their wedding day!

Rose & Fred’s Maternity Session :: Pregnant in the City!

Our Florida based studio always strives to shoot in locations that take you away. In this case it took Cohart Photography to New York’s Central Park to capture the passion, love and excitement that radiates from a couple expecting! Watching this couple interact was a pleasant experience as they walked through Central Park’s beautiful summer setting. It came as no surprise to me to find Rose in great shape as Rose & Fred are fitness gurus! Our 8 month pregnant Mum-to-be strolled through New York’s Central Park effortlessly – as we switch locations from the lakeside view to the natural rock formations around the park. Usually maternity sessions move at a slower pace than this lol! At certain times in the photo session, the ducks would make a cameo appearance which we all found quite funny! All in all I it was a great session of a classy couple. Congrats to you both and I know you’ll be great parents!

Rose & Fred’s Baby Shower :: The Best Baby Shower Ever!!!

One word FUN! Read on and you’ll see what I mean. The event planners put together a well coordinated event. The catering was light with a tasteful palette of choices. The night started slow with warm wishes from the guest followed by a few games/ quizzes. But when our MC handed over the mic to DJ Major, he began to energize the room and the guest got their groove on and stayed on the dance floor right through the early hrs of the morning! The most memorable moment for me was watching our 9 month pregnant Mum on stilettos ‘drop it like it’s hot!’ And then to watch the response of a surprised father – and aunties – as his son showed off his new moves! What a blast!Credits:

Marsha & Lenny’s Wedding :: A night to remember

When I arrived at Marsha’s hotel room at the Omphoy Ocean Resort, she was surrounded by her bridesmaids! In terms of efficiency, it was like watching a scene from a pit stop crew and Transformers/ Iron Man the movie with all hands on deck lol! Within minutes she was all kitted out and looking fab! I give your Bridesmaids a lot of Kudos! Now Marsha held back those tears as her Maid of Honor read a message to her. It was warm and emotional, one that also touched me. After a short and intimate ceremony held at Lenny’s parent’s church….. It was off to the reception at the IBIS Golf & Country Club in West Palm Beach, FL! One of my favorite moments of this wedding was Marsha’s Dad and Brother’s speeches accepting Lenny into the fold. Certainly Lenny made an awesome impression on their heart. Not only did Lenny win the heart of Marsha but also the hearts of his in-laws! I think I recall Lenny telling me he was available for consults? His number is 954- just kidding lol! Congrats to you guys! Totally enjoyed being of service to you both!Credits:

Ashley’s Sweet 16 : : Photo Session

Ashley was a real natural in this photo session! She was full of energy and excited about the photo shoot! With an urban setting and heights, the session was edgy and classy at the same time! I think we have a modeling career in the making here lol!

Destiny + David’s 10 Year Anniversary

Destiny and David have been married 10 yrs with two children and decided to celebrate their anniversary by doing it all over again! This time here in south Florida’s trendy south beach, Miami Beach with their friends and family. South Point’s scenery made for a beautiful backdrop for this awesome beach wedding ceremony followed by the reception held at Mangos, Ocean Drive. Plenty of Caribbean music and colorful Miami Art Deco neon lights kept the guests entertained! The couple made a grand entrance greeted by the reggae band with a special announcement! Now wait till you see the shoes! The bling on the shoes got its own photo session by the bar! Her evening dress was funky-elegant! The night was wrapped up with food, speeches and more music. Congrats to you and your family!

Marsha & Lenny’s Engagement Session

Marsha and Lenny met on a return flight back from Jamaica to Florida when they sat next to each other. Lenny did not have a problem being sociable and Marsha being a little more conservative felt their whole conversation was being herd by adjacent passengers! They kept in touch and from there their love grew into something really special. I admire this couple for being able to sustain a long distance relationship for a few years before arriving at this special moment in their life. Now Marsha being an event planner, Cohart Photography had to deliver something out of the ordinary….our most comprehensive wedding website ever!!! Showcasing their engagement session in Miami with a whole host of custom features including a wedding party profile page, top 10 things to do in Miami, travel arrangement page, guestbook, gallery and slideshow! Their wedding theme is going to be fun too! Can’t reveal the details…guests might be reading this lol! Looking forward to capturing the special moments of your wedding Marsha and Lenny!
